Bring Traffic to your Website Free!

There area so many free to join programs out there that assures you that they can bring you traffic, simple, easy and free! I've joined many programs, tried to work it and eventually ended up forgetting about it. I hate downloading anything that I have to add to my internt tool bars, don't have the space and they can be bothersome.

When I launched the WAH Business Mall I was told about this program it's very new and hasn't been on-line too long. Signed up and added my URL's that I wanted to advertise in this free advertising surf for credit program.

Now, wait before you think oh, my God, another surf for credit program! This one is easy and it can be done automatically by your computer. Plus, the owners provide some great rewards for surfing and if you're like me I like to get things for free with minimal fuss and work, lol . .

This program allows you to choose your surfing option, I have mine on automatic surf. Each time I'm not on my computer, I let the computer surf for me. All I have to do is come back and check on it every 20 minutes or so to click on the "Continue" button and go back to cleaning, making dinner or doing laundry. I even put it on right before I go to bed, of course it will stop surfing but at least I've got some credits going into my account while I get ready for bed.

The first thing I do in the morning is turn on my monitor and click Continue again and off I go to make my coffee and get ready to start my morning. When I'm reading my emails I haveit on. It does interrupt you when it changes to another new site which is every 25 seconds, but you just have to click back to window you were working on.

I don't recommend automatically surfing for credits if you're working on a website, cause the program tends to disturb your concentration.

The program allows you to add up to 5 URL's for free. Your websites will be added to the Advertisement Rotation and when members start surfing they will see your website. Not a small ad, but your complete website. They have the option to open your site into another browser to check out what you have.

From time to time they sponsor a manual surfing and auto surf contest. One is being held right now and I'm in 2nd place to receive 45,000 credits. Of course I need to get 3,500 webpages but since yesterday program has surfed over 700 websites for me automatically. The other good thing is that this program allows you to sell your surplus credits.

Why am I excited about this free program, because for once I actually found a program that does what it says. Plus it's free and their auto surfing means I don't have to do anything but open up my auto surf URL and let the program do it for me while I do other things. It's a great way to utilize your spare time off the computer.

I almost forgot to mention that you also get cash for surfing. Okay, it's not going to make you rich cause it's less than a penny but hey, it's something, lol . .

Check your website layout

The new website development trend is to create web layouts that is viewable by most of the browsers used to access the internet.

The layout that is being used now is to have a table in the middle or the left side of the screen with spaces on either side or on the right hand side.

The reason is pretty self explanatory, to make sure that any computer can view your website content without having to use their scroller too much.

Sometimes however, the many novice that create websites tend to use up the entire page to create their layout which makes it hard for those that use Mac or browsers that are using WebTv or those that use the Netscape browser using a Mac computer which has a screen size of 470x300.

Unless you have developed your website where your tables automatically contract and retract to the size of any browser, you should make sure that your site content is being viewed with minimal work required by your visitors. The Price of Freedom

Some of you may already have seen this but it will not hurt to read it twice. Have you ever wondered what happened to the 56 men who signed the Declaration of Independence?

Five signers were captured by the British as traitors, and tortured before they died.

Twelve had their homes ransacked and burned.

Two lost their sons serving in the Revolutionary Army; another had two sons captured.

Nine of the 56 fought and died from wounds or hardships of the Revolutionary War.

They signed and they pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor. What kind of men were they?

Twenty-four were lawyers and jurists. Eleven were merchants, nine were farmers and large plantation owners; men of means, well educated, but they signed the Declaration of Independence knowing full well that the penalty would be death if they were captured.

Carter Braxton of Virginia, a wealthy planter and trader, saw his ships swept from the seas by the British Navy. He sold his home and properties to pay his debts, and died in rags.

Thomas McKeam was so hounded by the British that he was forced to move his family almost constantly. He served in the Congress without pay, and his family was kept in hiding. His possessions were taken from him, and poverty was his reward.

Vandals or soldiers looted the properties of Dillery, Hall, Clymer, Walton, Gwinnett, Heyward, Ruttledge, and Middleton.At the battle of Yorktown, Thomas Nelson, Jr., noted that the British General Cornwallis had taken over the Nelson home for his headquarters. He quietly urged General George Washington to open fire. The home was destroyed, and Nelson died bankrupt.

Francis Lewis had his home and properties destroyed. The enemy jailed his wife, and she died within a few months.John Hart was driven from his wife's bedside as she was dying. Their 13 children fled for their lives. His fields and his gristmill were laid to waste. For more than a year he lived in forests and caves, returning home to find his wife dead and his children vanished.

Some of us take these liberties so much for granted, but we shouldn't.

So, take a few minutes while enjoying your 4th of July holiday and silently thank these patriots and those that have come after. All that have sacrificed so we may live as we live today. It's not much to ask for the price they paid.

Remember: freedom is never free!

Why would I put this on this business blog? Because without the sacrifices of those that have come before and those that continually sacrifice and protect our way of life, we wouldn't be doing business on-line and maybe not even have this freedom that the internet avails to us. Many of us do take this for granted and we never think about those who made this possible. So, business is business, but without the ultimate sacrifices of others who knows where we'd be?
